Cabinet drawers, doors, live edge slabs and butcher block

Fit drawers and hinged doors directly to a cabinet opening with seven corner joints including through-dovetails, or build tables and countertops from live edge slabs and butcher block.

New cabinetmaking procedures size drawers and doors directly from the cabinet or shelf opening they fit into, and the wood catalog now stocks live edge slabs and butcher block tops.

Point the drawer or door procedure at the sides, top, and bottom of a cabinet bay and it reads the opening dimensions automatically. Drawer boxes can be built with butt, rabbeted, dadoed, pocket-screwed, doweled, box-jointed, or through-dovetailed corners, with an inset front and side-mount, undermount, or center-mount slides. Doors can be cut as a single plywood slab or a five-piece frame-and-panel door hung on two butt hinges.

In the AR view and in the UI you can open and close doors and drawers and see the hardware actuate.

My Shop -> Wood now carries real live edge slabs and pre-glued butcher block countertops in sizes sold by stores. Live edge slabs draw their natural wane along the long edges and keep that irregular edge when crosscut to length. Ask Dusty for a walnut or saman slab table and it picks the smallest slab of that species that covers your table size.
