Sawdust now includes handsaw and chisel operations

Sawdust's virtual workshop now sports handsaws and chisels alongside power tools, enabling advance joinery techniques. You can record saw cuts and subsequent waste removal as separate steps in the same project.

The resulting geometry shows the difference between the original blank and the finished recess. Sawdust can demonstrateit how a joint develops through the fabrication sequence.

In sawdust, a virtual chisel is used to remove a region of wood in order to create a half lap joint
A handsaw is being used to cut a series of grooves. The pieces between the grooves will be broken out and cleaned up with a chisel.
