My Shop and a redesigned workshop
Published on
Manage the lumber, tools, blades, bits, and hardware you own at sawdust.diy/myshop, and work in a cleaner editor with a build-steps strip and 3D layout tools.
Materials, Hardware, and Procedures have moved into one place: My Shop, open to browse even when signed out at https://sawdust.diy/myshop. It holds wood, sheet goods, hardware, fasteners, tools, router bits, drill bits, saw blades, abrasives, Tool Lists, Materials Packs, procedures, and plans.

Track what you own, mount blades, and check plans against your shop
Mark the tools, blades, bits, and lumber you own, record how many of each board or fastener you have on hand, and star your favorites. You can mount a saw blade onto a specific saw in your shop; if that blade is already mounted on another saw, Sawdust asks whether to move it over or mark a second copy as owned.
Not sure where to start? Open Tool Lists and pick Sawdust Workshop: Beginner to add a starter set of saws, drills, and router bits in one click. When you view any shared plan, Sawdust checks the tools and bits it uses against My Shop and highlights anything you are missing. When you finish building a project, you can deduct the boards and fasteners you used from your on-hand counts.

A cleaner workshop and 3D layout tools
Inside the editor, the top bar now switches between Build, My Shop, and Publish. The left tool rail groups related saws, drills, and layout tools under square tiles (hold or right-click a tile to switch between tools in that group), and a build-steps strip sits right beside the chat panel with a play button and optional spoken narration.
The level, protractor, tape measure, and camera now appear as 3D tools in the scene when you use them. Every CAD and fabrication download (STEP, USDZ, GLB, laser sheets, 3D-print STLs, and project JSON/YAML) now lives under Publish -> Files, and each project can keep multiple chat threads.
