Invoice shopping lists, real store lumber and spend tracking
Published on
See lumber, hardware, and fasteners in one priced invoice table, record what you actually paid, download a PDF cost estimate, and follow store links for your country.
The shopping list now combines lumber, hardware, screws, and nails into a single invoice table with unit prices, an estimated total, regional store links, and a place to record what you actually spent at the register.

Edit prices, track what you paid, and download a PDF estimate
Every board, bracket, and box of screws shows a unit price and line amount. Click Edit prices on your project to enter your local yard's board prices or record what you actually paid for an item. Items you have bought show their actual amount and roll up into a Spent so far total underneath the estimate, and Download estimate exports a clean PDF quote for yourself or a client. Everything you enter stays private to your account and is never copied when someone forks your plan.

Lumber the way stores actually sell it
Sawdust never puts a board on your shopping list that is longer than the stock sold in stores, and if a project calls for long narrow strips (like 8-foot slat rails), it rips them from wider boards instead of inventing an 8-foot 1x2 your store does not carry. Boxed screws and hardware kits count packages across the whole project and note how many spares you will have left over.
Lumber entries also carry their real structural grade, preservative treatment, and moisture content (such as Ground Contact UC4A pressure-treated posts and No. 1 framing joists), and the catalog now includes 1x2 furring strips, pressure-treated 2x4 through 2x12 framing, and Trex composite deck boards in coastal bluff, saddle, and pebble grey. In Settings, you can switch between Haulable mode (which favors 8-foot boards that fit in an SUV or pickup bed) and Economical mode (which packs parts onto 10-, 12-, and 16-foot stock to reduce waste).

Store links for your country
Purchase links automatically route to the storefront for your country when a product is carried in multiple regions, with a menu beside each item to switch stores. In the US, lumber links search Home Depot using the exact dimensions and grade terms the store uses (such as 2 in. x 4 in. x 8 ft.) so you land on real stock at your local store.
