Metric projects and tongue-and-groove profiles

Projects set to millimetres now display millimetres everywhere, length fields accept any unit you type, and milled tongue-and-groove boards keep their profile through cuts.

A project set to millimetres now speaks millimetres everywhere: on the stop tape, in the Inspector, on share cards, in cut sheets, on tool readouts, and in the fastener schedule. You can also type any unit into a length field: 460mm, 46cm, or 1' 4" all convert to the measurement you meant.

Milled tongue-and-groove and cladding profiles

The catalog now carries European metric stock including Nordic NTR A ground-contact posts, C24 structural framing, tapered clinker cladding, and tongue-and-groove boards. Because a tongue-and-groove board arrives milled from the yard, Sawdust models its actual cross-section and tracks total width alongside exposed face coverage.

When you crosscut or rip a tongue-and-groove board, both pieces keep their milled profile so you can reuse offcuts on the next course without losing the joint.
