Hinges and other mechanism hardware can move with assemblies
Published on
Model supported hinges and drawer mechanisms as moving assemblies, with hardware mounted to real part faces.
Sawdust supports articulated joints and mechanism hardware so you can inspect a door or other moving assembly through its travel. The moving hardware components follow the parts to which they are mounted.
Mounting relationships are represented in the model: a hinge leaf meets its mounting face, and a drawer slide connects its supported surfaces. Inspect the closed and open positions to understand the hardware placement and available clearance.
