Connect Sawdust to Google Antigravity

Published on

Add https://sawdust.diy/mcp to ~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp_config.json and complete the browser OAuth handoff.

Google Antigravity connects to remote MCP servers configured with serverUrl in ~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp_config.json. When you approve Sawdust in your browser, Sawdust displays a one-time authorization code that you paste back into Antigravity when prompted.

1. Add Sawdust to mcp_config.json

In the Antigravity Agent pane, click ... -> MCP Servers -> Manage MCP Servers -> View raw config (or open ~/.gemini/antigravity/mcp_config.json) and add sawdust:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "sawdust": {
      "serverUrl": "https://sawdust.diy/mcp"
    }
  }
}

2. Approve access and complete the code handoff

  1. Save mcp_config.json and refresh your MCP servers in Antigravity.
  2. In the browser window that opens, sign in to Sawdust and click Approve.
  3. If Antigravity's local callback port is reachable, sign-in finishes automatically. If your browser displays a Sawdust page with a one-time authorization code, click Copy code and paste it into Antigravity's prompt.

3. Manage or disconnect

Once connected, Antigravity can list your projects, inspect parts, and run woodworking tools. You can revoke the connection anytime in Sawdust under Settings -> Connected assistants.
