Register https://sawdust.diy/mcp in Claude Code with claude mcp add and complete the browser OAuth sign-in.

Claude Code supports remote HTTP MCP servers with OAuth out of the box. You can register Sawdust with a single terminal command and approve access in your browser.

1. Register the Sawdust MCP server

Run this command in your terminal (or copy it from Add your own AI agent -> Connect Claude or ChatGPT inside Sawdust):

claude mcp add --transport http sawdust https://sawdust.diy/mcp

To share the server across every directory on your machine instead of only the current project folder, add --scope user:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user sawdust https://sawdust.diy/mcp
