How to connect an assistant to Sawdust
Published on
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or another MCP client to https://sawdust.diy/mcp with OAuth sign-in.
Sawdust exposes a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://sawdust.diy/mcp. Once connected, your external assistant can list your projects, inspect 3D geometry and cut sheets, run woodworking tools, and save procedures directly on your Sawdust account.
Copy the server URL in Sawdust
Open Add your own AI agent from the Chat panel (or open Settings and scroll to Connected assistants) and switch to Connect Claude or ChatGPT. Click Copy next to https://sawdust.diy/mcp.
